WATCH: Hingham Pays Tribute to Cpl. Christopher Orlando
The family of the late Marine returned home with a police escort.
HINGHAM, MA - Police and fire vehicles escorted the Orlando family home Tuesday evening after returning from a memorial for Cpl. Christopher Orlando and 11 other Marines in Hawaii.
Hundreds of supporters and well-wishers lined the streets of Hingham, starting at Queen Anne’s Corner near the Hingham-Norwell town line, holding American flags and signs thanking Orlando for his service.

The family was escorted by police starting at Logan Airport, with Hingham police joining once the family crossed the town line.
Orlando and 11 other Marines were on two helicopters that collided off the coast of Oahu in Hawaii on Jan. 14. All 12 Marines were declared dead five days later.
