But summer weather returns midweek, with scattered thunderstorms Thursday.

After a perfect weekend weather wise, more wet weather is on the way to start the work week.

Showers are expected to roll in Monday afternoon and Monday night. On Tuesday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted all day and into the evening. But don’t fear - warm, summer weather returns on Wednesday.

Monday: A chance of showers after 3 p.m with partly sunny skies and a high near 71 and low of 63. Cloudy skies and new precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible in the evening.

Tuesday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1 p.m. Patchy fog is expected before 9 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 77 and low of 62 degrees.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81 and a low around 62.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83 and a low around 64.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81 and low around 62.
