35th Annual Holliston Historical Society Fair

With summer winding down, thoughts of autumn bring to mind putting the bathing suits away, shorter crisper days, leaves turning beautiful colors, school routines and......The Historical Society Harvest Fair! The country fair will be held on the lovely grounds of the Col. Asa Whiting House and Barn.
This annual fall favorite has something for everyone. For those of us with a sweet tooth, we have fudge, candies and cannoli vendors. Foodies will enjoy the array of jams, breads ,croissants, scones, herbs, dips, honey and a booth offering ”unique utensils” for the kitchen!
Of interest to those with a flair for decorating, vendors will be showcasing a variety of wares: original paintings, prints, pillows, pillow covers, fabric storage bins, cut flowers, hand painted slates, ceramics, tiered dishes, wind chimes, bottle lamps, and of course vintage collectables......the list goes on.

Artisan jewelers will be in attendance with leather jewelry and copper jewelry. Vintage jewelry will also be offered. Need a gift for a baby? Vendors will have blankets, bibs and an array of handcrafted baby items. Other booths are showing notecards, vintage dolls and doll clothing, scarves, hats, clothing and accessories. A silent auction offers bargains on goods and services donated by local businesses and an item from each vendor.
Food and beverages are available for purchase in the barn, where there will also be a bake table and our famous Historical Society apple pies for sale.

Children will enjoy the Bouncy House, Farm animals from P. J. Kilkelly’s farm and face painting! The Asa Whiting House will be open with some new displays and a scavenger hunt questionnaire will ensue. Two prize winners will be drawn from the completed questionnaires. The house is open from 11:30am to pm.
