On Thursday, we have a Board of Health meeting, some art for the kids and youth baseball action.

- From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., will hold the first class in its Summer Art on Thursdays series. The weekly Thursday classes are for children ages 8-12 from July 7 to Aug. 11.
The classes will be taught by local artist and teacher Laurie Leavitt. There will be a different theme each week.

Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and class will start 30 minutes later.
BODYCOMBAT is a cardiovascular program that incorporates karate, boxing, taekwondo, Tai Chi, Kung Fu and Muay Thai.
The event will be held in honor of Julie Greenwood Faucett, who died of cancer 10 years ago. Attendees are asked to make a minimum donation of $10 either online or by cash or check at the class.
All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
