Adidas Needs a New Home

Meet this brown-eyed handsome boy who needs a new home

A Baypath staff member showed up at the shelter one morning and was surprised to find a shiny young dog wagging his tail in the fenced-in play area. It turned out someone abandoned the poor guy, and a kind man brought him to our play area to keep him safe.

The staff named him Adidas because he looks so much like their gorgeous pal Nike who was adopted last year.

Understandably, Adidas was scared in the shelter. Fortunately, a kind couple stepped up to give him a loving foster home where he’s getting the care and attention he needs to be at his best while he waits to find his forever home. His foster parents have spent lots of time providing positive reinforcement and teaching him to be a wonderful companion. He’s a fast learner, and in their care he’s already learned several commands. And he’s discovered the joys of playtime (not to mention getting his belly rubbed!)

Adidas is ready for adventure! He’s great on a leash and loves to go for walks, to play, and to fetch. Adidas is a terrier mix who’s about a year old. True to his breed, he’s happiest when he’s had plenty of mental and physical exercise, so he needs an experienced owner who’ll continue his training and love exploring the great outdoors with him. His foster parents take him out for hikes and he loves checking out new places.

He’s quite a looker with his sleek black coat and sweet brown eyes. Adidas is already crate trained and house trained. He’s healthy, neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and is microchipped. He needs an adult-only home, and to be the only pet.
