Athlete of the Week: Liz Keefe

Liz Keefe proved to have a positive presence on and off the field.

Having played field hockey since the 8th grade, Liz Keefe commanded the skill and coordination to make the Hopkinton JV Field Hockey Team in her freshman year and the varsity team when she was a sophomore.

As a Hopkinton student, Keefe was a peer leader and a Unite mentor.  She will be attending UMASS Amherst later this month and plans to participate in the club field hockey program there.

Team:              Hillers Field Hockey  Co-Captain

                        8 Assists

Favorite Moment: One of my favorite memories from senior year is of our first tournament game when we were playing Hingham.  It was a very close game.  They were the number 9 seed, and we were the 8 seed. The game ended up going into double over time, and in the end we won. We were out in the next round against the number 1 seed, Walpole, but even then we were in it till the end;  it was a close game.
