The Village Congregational Church welcomes you to join us for an outdoor worship service and "Blessing of the Pets" on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Whitinsville Town Common at 10:00AM. Please bring your pets, large or small, to this special service of blessing. (Please ensure all pets are leashed or in a pet carrier and that they get along with others)In addition, we invite you to bring blankets, pet toys and unopened/unexpired donations of dog and cat food (canned and dry), or dog and cat treats. All donated items and cash offerings will be given to a local animal shelter. This will be the Sunday School Program's kick off of their Fall Fundraiser to benefit a local animal shelter. This fundraiser will run through November and will conclude with a Pie/Bake Sale at the church on Sunday November 23rd in Mason Hall at 11:00AM. The ending to this fundraiser is an event not to be missed as a pie eating contest for children, adults and seniors will take place at the conclusion of the Pie/Bake Sale!
