About tags

When you write a blog for the Hopkinton Patch, the form will ask you to list some keywords or tags after your post.

Tags are words that you would use to search for internet posts relating to the topic you're writing about.

So a good rule of thumb for tags is to use words or short phrases that you would type into a search engine if you wanted to find articles or information about what you're writing about.

So the tag on this post will be "what are tags."
