Hopkinton 28-Year-Old Dies of Heart Illness

Brandon Joseph Showalter, 28, died Aug. 25 of a heart-related illness. Born in Boston, he was a 2002 graduate of . He also attended UMass Amherst and was VP of operations at All-Pro Cleaning Systems in Westboro.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Catherine Showalter and sisters Lauren and Julie, all of Hopkinton; and his girlfriend Katelyn Barry.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. in hall. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist. Burial will follow in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.
