Business community teams up to support animals in need

Local businesses, including Dunkin Donuts (Sardinha Family), Jasper Hill Café & Bistro, Hopkinton Gourmet, Colella’s, and Bill’s Pizza, Alta Legacy Farms, are supporting the Paws & Claws 5K. All money raised supports Baypath Humane Society in its mission to provide shelter, care, and loving homes for stray and unwanted companion animals.

To be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014, this top rated dog-friendly, child-friendly fun run supports animals in need at Baypath Humane Society. The beautiful course runs through Hopkinton State Park during peak foliage season. Join fellow animal lovers and four-legged pals for this run/walk. You can run solo, on a team, or with your leashed dog. Youngsters can also join in the fun at the half-mile Small Paw Fun Run.

The first 400 registrants will receive a racing t-shirt or a twill shopping bag. Unwind after the race with Baypath Humane alumni, a delicious post-race buffet, music by Singing Trooper Dan Clark, and prizes for people and dogs alike. Please register today at www.baypathhumane.org/5K.
