How many years in business/ When was the business started? The business was started on June 1, 1992 by Philip Sr. and Janet Harper.  We rented two bays in Elmwood Park, Hopkinton and the business name was WW Auto Repair.  Phil Jr. came into the business in the fall of 1992.  After two years we outgrew the bays and needed to find a bigger place.  We bought 24 acres on Lumber Street and built "Lumber Street Auto Repair, Inc.".  We moved in April 1996.  Later, son Scott entered the business.  As of 2005 Phil and Scott own and run Lumber Street Auto.

Do you live in Hopkinton? Phil lives in Upton and Scott lives in Milford

What do you like best about owning/running this business? Having the opportunity to creatively help people with their vehicles repair/service needs.
