Cancer Claims Hopkinton's Karen Franks
The former Hopkinton High School employee has died at 66.

Karen E. Franks, 66, died at her home October 8. A former secretary at Hopkinton High School, she is survived by her husband Steve, four children, and twelve grandchildren.
She was a devoted member of Christ the King Lutheran Church of Holliston, serving as Stephen Minister, and Faith Community Church of Hopkinton. She loved gardening and animals, supporting the New England Basset Hound Rescue Association, the Metrowest Humane Society and MSPCA.
A memorial service is planned in the Chapel at Faith Community Church in Hopkinton on Saturday, October 13 at 3 p.m. A time of fellowship and memories will be open to all at the church after the service.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be given in Karen Franks’ memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institue, 2nd Floor, 20 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton.
