Candlelight Vigil for Newtown

The members of the Holliston Democratic Committee will be hosting a candlelight vigil on Saturday, December 13, from 4-5pm on the green at the Congregational Church, 725 Washington St.

The vigil marks the 2nd anniversary of the Sandy Hook School shootings in Newtown, Conn., when a lone gunman took the lives of 20 children and 6 staff members. Candles will be lit in remembrance of those 26, as well as all victims of gun violence.

This community remembrance ceremony is open to the public. Candles will be provided.
