Dancing Arts Center Students Join Nationwide Summer Dance Programs

Dancing Arts Center is proud to announce that four of its students will attend renowned intensive dance programs this summer.

Dancing Arts Center is proud to announce that four of its students will attend renowned intensive dance programs across the country this summer.

Jacob Clerico, 17, from Natick, Massachusetts, has earned a full scholarship to attend the American Ballet Theatre summer intensive program in New York City. The American Ballet Theatre Summer Program is considered one of the finest in the country.

Meanwhile, Framingham resident, Nicoletta Agostino, 14, will also join the American Ballet Theatre program at the North Carolina School for the Arts (an American Ballet Theatre® official affiliate school) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Jessica Lynch, 14, from Sherborn, will attend the Houston Ballet program in Houston, Texas, and, Holliston resident, Jenna Calabrese, 15, plans to participate in the White Mountain Summer Dance Festival program at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. Jenna was just one of 40 dancers accepted into the White Mountain program.

“These summer programs serve as exciting and unique learning opportunities for Jacob, Nicoletta, Jessica and Jenna, says DAC Co-Director Gregg Saulnier. “Their acceptance into these programs shows the hard work they’ve put in and the high level of skill they’ve attained through their training here at DAC. We are excited for them and wish them the best of the luck in their upcoming summer dance experience. We look forward to them sharing what they’ve learned when they return.”
