Election 2011: Greendale Enters Race For Town Clerk
Liz Greendale will challenge Will McColl and Michelle Johnson for the office in the May election.

As first reported in the Holliston Reporter on Wednesday, Liz Greendale has joined the race for .
Greendale becaomes the third candidate for the office, joining and . All three will be be vying to replace .
According to an open letter to Holliston residents that was published on the Reporter's Web site, Greendale served as assistant town clerk for four years in the late 90s before leaving to raise a family. She did, however, work with Dellicker at Town Meetings and during elections when her schedule allowed.
"Now that my children are of school age, I want to return to important work that I really love," wrote Greendale in the letter. "The Town Clerk’s office is often the first impression of Holliston for visitors and residents and our Clerk’s office is a welcoming and efficient place. I want to continue this tradition of friendly service combined with strict adherence to the laws and regulations that direct the operations of the Town Clerk."

A 1983 graduate of , Greeendale lives with her husband, Alan, and their four children on Highland St. She has co-chaired Celebrate Holliston and is the co-founder of the Friends of the .
A Justice of the Peace and a Notary Public, Greendale was a teller and branch manager at BayBank Middlesex in Holliston from 1985—1995 before her tenure as assistant town clerk.
