Updated: Races Set for Town Election
With five candidates, Town Clerk is the most hotly-contested race in the May 25 election.
The races have been finalized for the May 24 Town Election.
The race for is one of the most crowded in recent years with five residents vying for the position that will be left by 's retirement in May.
co-owner and Finance Committee member Pam Zicko and Granite Street resident Robert Wolfe jumped onto the ballot earlier in March, joining , and selectman . The Town Clerk's office is a two-year term.

In other races, and John "Jack" Blais will run for the 's open three-year seat, which came up when Chairman Andy Porter . Leary, who is currently on the Finance Committee, is making his first selectman bid, while Blais lost by 269 votes to Jay Marsden for an open seat last year.
After , former selectman to serve the remaining year of McColl's term. Damigella was on the board for 15 years, serving three times as Chairman before stepping down in 2010. In last May's election, he lost out to incumbent Jared Adams in the race for Water Commissioner.

. Conley will campaign against FinCom member , who pulled papers on March 9 and Marshall St. resident J. Michael Norton, who announced his candidacy March 11.
Norton is the developer of the proposed Cedar Ridge affordable housing project. The town has consistently moved to block Norton's proposal, which would be built on the "Bird Property" off Marshall Street. The case has now gone to the state's Appeals Court.
After on the board, Porter pulled papers for the open spot on the Board of Assessors before ultimately deciding not to run. Fellow Lion will run for the position (three-year term).
Meanwhile, Winter Street resident Michelle Zeamer and Pamela Drive resident Kathleen White will run for the two open positions on the Finance Committee (three-year term).
On the School Committee, Chairperson Lisa Galeaz and Erica Plunkett will be looking to keep their spots for another three years.
On the , 20-year-old and Norfolk St. resident will make bids for the seat vacated by , who is leaving after 10 years. A junior political science major at UMass-Lowell, Loya lost to Carolyna Dykema, D-Holliston, in last November's race for the 8th Middlesex District State Representative seat.
Elsewhere, is going after Jeff Weise's spot on the Water Commission. Weise has said he will not seek re-election if another qualified candidate emerges.
Inge Daniels and Paul Healy will look to keep one-year seats on the Park Commission.
Patricia Duffey, RN is running to maintain her spot on the (three-year term) and will be challenged by .
Patricia Fuller and Catherine Soucy are each looking for another three-year term as a .
Sylvia Stickney will oppose Della Miles for the open five-year term on the Housing Authority.
