Against the Tide is an annual family-friendly fundraising event to benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC). MBCC works to reduce toxic chemicals in the environment which research shows are linked to the dramatic rise in incidence of breast cancer. Against the Tide will take place at Hopkinton State Park on Saturday June 18th, from 7 am until noon. It consists of several different activities - 2 one-mile swims - competitive OR recreational, a two-mile kayak, a three-mile recreational walk and a 5K fun run. This is a non-certified 5k run.
