After being held in conjunction with the Timlin Road Race the last two years, the HPTA Mini Marathon is back as its own individual event in 2012. The popular kids-oriented event features races of varying distances for all ages — 100 meters to 1 mile — and is a fun day of exercise, competition and community spirit. Races will be held for all ages, Saturday, May 5 starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Hopkinton High School track. In addition, there will be activities and games going on inside the track so kids will have plenty of exciting things to do all afternoon. All proceeds from the event go to the HPTA, which supports the Hopkinton Public Schools. So, come out on and be ready to run! Entry information will be available online soon, and there will be a discount for those who sign up in advance.
Register by May 1 and save $2 per entry.
