No equipment or experience is necessary -- first time ice fishermen are welcome and encouraged! Snacks and prizes will be provided to participants. This is an official MassWildlife fishing education event.
· No entry fee for this event, but pre-registration is required. Call 508-435-4148 or email lawrenceofwoodville@gmail.com before January 26 to register children for the derby. When registering for the event be sure to include the name and age of each child participating as well as a phone number where you can be reached in case the event is postponed due to lack of ice.

· Cancellation date/time for unsafe ice: If there is not enough ice, the no ice date will be Sunday, Feb. 27, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 pm.
