
This yoga class incorporates total body/breath awareness by beginning with centering and pranayama (breathing exercises). Students are then led through a series of spinal warm ups before starting a slow vinyasa flow. At this slower pace, movement and breath are linked and the body is less prone to injury. Slow flow is ideal for all levels -- beginners can more easily grasp new postures and advanced students will be challenged to hold poses for a longer duration of time.
