Holliston’s own Mudville Base Ball Club will be competing with the Melrose Pondfeilders and the Saginaw Michigan Old Golds for the Second Annual John Clarkson Trophy.
Following the completion of the second game, the teams will retire to on Railroad Street. At 3 p.m., the public is invited to join the teams at Casey’s (the future home of Mighty Casey the First) for a quick march to the Mayor’s garden for the new statue dedication, as well as the presentation of trophies. The celebration will then return to Casey’s.
The public is invited to attend the games (played by 1860’s rules) and to join in the parade. There is no charge.
