The change of the seasons is a wonderful time to start soothing the body, mind and spirit with Yoga! Join us on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11-noon for an enjoyable hour of relaxing, stretching and strengthening. It is never too late to start! We welcome beginners every week! On Mondays, a third of the class is done seated (in a chair or on the floor), a third standing and a third on the floor! On Wednesdays, half the class is done seated in a chair and the other half standing. The class ends with a relaxation either seated or lying down on a yoga mat (which we provide). Yoga improves balance, stability, breath capacity, range of motion in joints and helps with one’s ability to sleep through the night! Teacher Roberta Weiner is a certified Kripalu instructor and runs the Prana Center in downtown Holliston. This program is partially funded through a Federal Grant from BayPath Elder Services.
