Fatima Shrine Walk

The
Holliston Conservation Associates are hosting a walk at the Fatima Shrine on
Thursday, August 8th at 7:00 PM.
The walk will be led by Shirley Melle,
a long-time member of the Associates and the president of the Xaverian Mission League.  The Fatima Shrine has 23 acres of gardens and

paths. There is a rosary at the shrine that is believed to be the largest in

the world. It consists of boulders and the anchor and chain from John F.

Kennedy's ship, on loan to the shrine from the U.S. Navy.

The walk will be an easy one, on paved paths, and last about an hour.  It will be dusk, so bring bug spray, if desired.  The Shrine is located at 101Summer St. in Holliston and there is a big parking lot.  For more information, contact Mary at 429-5929.
