Femino Returns to School, Commercial Crew in Tow
The 2006 grad helps HHS "star" in a TV commercial for a running shoe maker.

Last week The Patch reported on Holliston native Toni DiBuono’s new that is receiving extensive airplay.
This week, I was pleased to learn that our very own was used as the site for a Saucony commercial that aired on NESN last summer during Red Sox games. And it was the work of a Holliston High graduate that made it happen.
Cameron Femino no longer calls Holliston home, but he did graduate from our high school in 2006. Following the completion of an intensive media and arts program at Florida’s Fullsail University, he earned an internship at Boston’s Parallax Productions where he soon gained fulltime employment.

Femino was a member of a team at Parallax working with Mechanica, a Newburyport based ad agency, and found himself in charge of locations. When it was decided that the contrast of a red track with green grass would provide a good vehicle for showcasing Saucony’s track and field products, he remembered his former school.
Femino put a call into his old assistant principal, John Fitzsimmons, the appropriate nods were received, and filming took place during the 2010 April vacation. Parallax’s Alan Chebot directed the commercial which features several excellent views of the track, gymnasium, and trophy cabinet.

Everything worked perfectly according to Femino, who noted that Parallax made a donation to the athletic department as a thank you for their efforts.
Femino, whose parents recently sold their Holliston home, is currently involved with many new projects, while maintaining friendships with former HHS classmates.
