Flood Watch, Wind Advisory, Issued for Holliston and Hopkinton

The National Weather Service is predicting heavy rain to fall on Holliston and Hopkinton between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.

The NWS said the entire Greater Boston area will get at least between 1.5 and 2.5 inches, but some areas may pick up as much as 4 inches of rain. The NWS issued a flood watch for Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.

There is also a wind advisory for the area. 

Heavy rain is expected to begin between 5 and 8 p.m. Wednesday and it will continue through the night and into Thursday morning.

The NWS said the heavy rain will impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
