Gas About to Break Below $2 a Gallon in Mass.

The average price this week was $2.46 a gallon, down 11 cents from last week. One station is Holbrook is selling it for $2.

Massachusetts gas prices are continuing their free fall—and it’s only a matter of days before some stations start selling it for below $2 a gallon.

Gas this week hit an average of $2.57, down 11 cents from last week and about a dollar from a year ago, according to AAA Southern New England. The average price of gas in entire the country is about $2.40 a gallon.

Prices will likely continue to fall through June, Bloomberg reported.

The cheapest gas in Massachusetts state on Monday could be found in Holbrook, where a station is selling it for $2 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.
