Ground Beef Recall at Hannaford's
Hannaford's Supermarket is voluntarily recalling its brand of ground beef.

If you do your grocery shopping in nearby Milford, you should be aware of a voluntary recall of ground beef at .
According to its website, the supermarket chain, which has a location on East Main Street in Milford, is recalling the following meat products with "sell by" dates of Dec. 17 or earlier, saying they could be contaminated with salmonella:
73-percent Hannaford Regular Ground Beef
75-percent Hannaford Regular Ground Beef
80-percent Hannaford Regular Ground Beef
85-percent Hannaford Regular Ground Beef
90-percent Hannaford Regular Ground Beef
80-percent Taste of Inspirations Angus Ground Beef
85-percent Taste of Inspirations Angus Ground Beef
90-percent Taste of Inspirations Angus Ground Beef
85-percent Nature's Place Ground Beef
90-percent Nature's Place Ground Beef

Ten people have fallen ill after consuming ground beef purchased between Oct. 12 and Nov. 20, according to Hannaford. An investigation by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Center For Disease Control prompted the recall.
All impacted meat has been removed from store shelves, according to the grocery chain. Any customer who purchased ground beef with "sell by" dates of Dec. 17 or earlier can return it for a full refund.
