WHAT: The Red Sox invite fans to celebrate Halloween with two free and open-to-the-public events. Fans are invited to attend “Halloween at Fenway Park” on Saturday, October 31, when children and adults will have a chance to trick-or-treat around the warning track. Fans will also have the opportunity to enter their carved pumpkins into a contest at the ballpark on Thursday, October 29.

Trick-or-treating will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 31. The outfield will be adorned with Halloween decorations as costumed staff hand out candy. Wally the Green Monster will be present, along with the three World Series trophies, balloon artists, face painters, caricaturists, and stilt walker “Big League Brian.” Hi-Chew will donate candy for the event. Costumes are encouraged.
On Thursday, October 29, fans can drop off their pre-carved pumpkins from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to be judged in a contest. Members of the Red Sox front office will act as judges, and prizes will be awarded to the top three pumpkins. The winning pumpkins will be announced on Friday, October 30. All pumpkins will be on display in the outfield on Halloween when it will be transformed into a haunted pumpkin patch.
