Hearing Scheduled For Future Of Greyhound Friends
A public hearing is being held regarding the closing of Greyhound Friends kennel.

HOPKINTON, MA — The Hopkinton Board of Selectmen is holding a public hearing on Tuesday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall, 18 Main St., relative to the Greyhound Friends dog kennel at 167 Saddle Hill Road, Hopkinton.
The purpose of the meeting is to determine whether the kennel is being maintained in a sanitary and humane
manner and/or if records are properly kept as required by law, and may order, revoke or suspend
the license for the kennel if a positive determination is not made.

Following the suspension and closure last month, Coleman told FOX25 Investigates that she was looking forward to bringing the kennel back up to code in order to re-open, and denied any mistreatment of the animals.
Coleman last week announced she was stepping down from the board and taking a leave of absence.
