Holliston, Hopkinton Residents Run For State Republican Committee

Holliston and Hopkinton residents are running in the Second Middlesex and Norfolk districts for the State Republican Committee race.

HOLLISTON-HOPKINTON — Two local faces will appear on the March 3 ballot under the State Republican Committee seats. A Holliston resident and a Hopkinton resident are running in the Second Middlesex and Norfolk districts for the State Republican Committee race.

Leda Arakelian, a Hopkinton resident and longtime member of the Hopkinton Republican Town Committee, will compete for the committeewoman seat against recently elected Framingham City Councilor Janet Leombruno.

In a campaign announcement this week, Arakelian came out in support of President Donald Trump and his hard line immigration policies.

"I am proud to be running on the same ballot as President Donald Trump," she said in a statement. "I am committed to growing the GOP and recruiting strong candidates. The state House is tilting more and more to the extreme left."

Holliston resident Marty Lamb is running for re-election to the committeeman seat. Lamb is an attorney and the owner of Lamb and Associates law firm.

The Second Middlesex and Norfolk District includes parts of Framingham, Natick, Medway, Holliston, Ashland, Franklin, and Hopkinton.
