Holliston Police Log: Found $6, Out-of-Place GPS, Belligerent Teen

Friday, June 29
4:38 p.m.: A caller from Marshall Street said a suspicious vehicle left his driveway and entered a neighbor's driveway. Police checked and found the party was delivering phone books to to neighborhoods in the area.
5:29 p.m.: A park commissioner found $6 in cash at and said he could meet to return it to its owner if needed.

6:04 p.m.: An Alden Road resident reported a solicitor in the area. The solicitor was advised to seek a permit.
8:24 p.m.: A person at Mobil reported a lost black, Harley Davidson wallet containing cash and bank cards.

9:43 p.m.: There was a report of a possibly intoxicated female walking in the area. She was reported as blonde and wearing a blue shirt and shorts. Officers checked the area with negative results.
10:44 p.m.: A caller from Alpine Drive said his girlfriend notified him via cell phone that she heard a noise in the house. Police responded and spoke with the resident.
Saturday, June 30
9:54 a.m.: A party from Marked Tree Road requested assistance keeping the peace while her ex-husband picked up some belongings.
11:06 a.m.: There was a report of a large utility tree down across the roadway at Prentice and Mill streets. A utility pole was on fire; the , NStar and Verizon were notified.
2:31 p.m.: A person found what he believed to be drug paraphernalia on Green Street.
5:49 p.m.: A motorist reported striking a family of ducks on Washington Street. Police determined the incident happened in Sherborn and notified Sherborn police.
6:30 p.m.: A caller reported money was stolen from a motor vehicle on Concord Street; police filed a report.
9:33 p.m.: A cat was reported struck in the area of Highland Street. Police couldn't locate the party or the animal.
9:40 p.m.: There were reports of an erratic operator on Prentice and Marshall streets. A silver Mercedes was reported to be driving into Hopkinton were notified.
Sunday, July 1
1:22 a.m.: Milford Police requested assistance breaking up a large party on Beaver Street in Milford.
2:59 a.m.: Milford police requested police respond to a motor vehicle crash at the hospital in their town. Milford police on scene said a party involved in the crash had reported they were assaulted in Holliston. Police brought a woman to the station and will be filing a summons.
10:07 a.m.: A business owner was complaining of illegal dumping on Washington Street. Paperwork found in the trash was found to come from 44 Baker St. The resident moved to 79 Baker St. The person was located and advised.
10:42 a.m.: A caller from Concord Street reported he and his dog were attacked by a dog at 53 Baker St. Police found the dog did not bite the reporting party and was on an electric fence.
12:54 p.m.: An old BB gun was brought to the for destruction.
3 p.m.: Police responded to a house alarm. The child on scene didn't know the password.
3:29 p.m.: A party on Concord Street found a GPS unit on her lawn. The item was held to determine if it might be connected with other recent incidents in the area.
3:33 p.m.: A person went to the Police Department asking to speak with an officer. The resident was confronted by a teen he observed in his driveway looking into motor vehicles. The youth became belligerent and the resident became concerned about retaliation.
10:22 p.m.: A caller reported family problems on Fiske Street.
Monday, July 2
10:51 p.m.: A door was left open to the Recreation building on Norfolk Street. It appeared to be an oversight.
