Holliston Police Log: Disoriented Dog in Road; Drinking Party Assistance

The following information was provided by the Holliston Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Tuesday, July 24

8:17 a.m.: Vandalism was reported to NStar property; the gate at the end of Hopping Brook Road had been damaged.

8:43 a.m.: There was a report of two dogs in traffic on Washington Street; one was reported to have a cone on its head that was limiting its vision.

3:58 p.m.: There was a report of a single motor vehicle crash in Hopkinton; Hopkinton police were notified.

6:49 p.m.: Police spoke with a business manager on Washington Street and advised him of various crime prevention strategies.

7:32 p.m.: Officers helped a bicyclist who had fallen at Norfolk Lane and Franklin Street. The cyclist denied medical attention and was escorted back to his/her residence.

7:36 p.m.: A caller from Marshall Street reported her ex-husband had removed items from the residence over the course of a few years. The caller was going to follow up with police once she determined whether to pursue the issue.

8:32 p.m.: A small, gray cat was reported to be missing from a residence on Partridge Road.

8:50 p.m.: A group of four was advised to leave the park area on Norfolk Street because of park rules.

10:43 p.m.: Three females were reported to be walking in the middle of Central Street and Pilgrim Road. They were advised.

Wednesday, July 25

12:47 a.m.: Ashland police requested assistance with a large, underage drinking party on Winter and Bobcat streets in their town.

6:13 a.m.: A caller from Marilyn Street reported he awoke to his garage doorand his door between the garage and house wide open. He believed someone may have tried to break into his residence. Police checked and it was determined to be a possible mechanical error with garage door equipment.

5:04 p.m.: Michael J. Lamarque, 22, of 2174 Washington St., Holliston, was arrested on Johnson Drive and charged with operating after a license revocation.

8:22 p.m.: Flags were returned to full staff.
