Holliston Police Log: Stolen Christmas Cards; Evading Police

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Monday, Dec. 17

6:27 a.m.: An officer responded to a disabled motor vehicle at the intersection of Concord and Washington streets. The vehicle was moved in to a parking lot while the owner waited for a tow company.

8:29 a.m.: Officers responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Washington and Summer streets. No injuries were reported.

2:25 p.m.: A caller reported continuing unwanted phone calls from telemarketers.

6:31 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington street after a caller reported being struck by it in Milford on Route 16. Officers arrested Kenneth Eisenbraun, 61, of 62 Pond St., Apt. 2, Ashland. Eisenbraun was charged with possession of a class E substance and second-offense drunken-driving.

Tuesday, Dec. 18

6:56 a.m.: Verizon was notified after a wire had been cut by a worker at Holliston Mobil.

8:37 a.m.: A caller reported that she had left Christmas cards for on her trash and recycling bins for the collectors and that they had been stolen.

2:31 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Marshall Street and gave the driver a verbal warning for speeding and evading police.

8:41 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle near ABC Glass and arrested Douglas Desena, 24, of 1670 Washington St. on warrant charges.

9:18 p.m.: A caller from Indian Ridge South Road reported that an unknown male had knocked on her door and demanded to be let in to the residence. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspicious person.
