Holliston Police Log: Trapped in the ATM, Loose Pigs

Thursday, Nov. 22

2:23 a.m.: An officer responded to a single car crash on Highland Street. The operator was cited for 89-4a and 90-18.

11:56 a.m.: A caller reported fireworks near Kampersal Road. The Kampersal’s had previously notified the Holliston Police Department they would be shooting in the area.

Friday, Nov. 23

11:56 a.m.: An officer responded to a three-vehicle crash near the Holliston Housing Authority. One vehicle was towed from the scene.

5:54 p.m.: An officer responded with the Holliston Fire Department to  report of a fire on Prentice Street. The caller said it was a small oven fire that had been put out.

8:09 p.m.: A Holliston ambulance driver that was transporting a resident to the hospital reported an erratic vehicle on Concord Street. An officer was able to stop the vehicle and arrest Reshad R. Guseynov, 48, of 16 Regency Dr. Guseynov was charged with drunken-driving and failure to drive in the right lane.

Saturday, Nov. 24

4:22 p.m.: A detail officer at the Holliston Stroll reported that a child had been separated from its mother. The officer assisted in reuniting the two.

8:17 p.m.: The Fire Department extinguished an unattended fire pit on Exchange Street.

9:16 p.m.: An officer checked several vehicles parked at Pleasure Point. Everyone in the vehicles was advised to leave the area.

Sunday, Nov. 25

10:02 a.m.: An officer responded to a complaint of nails thrown in a driveway on School Street.

2:20 p.m.: A resident of Westfield Drive reported that his dog had been stolen during an on going domestic dispute.

5:02 p.m.: An individual returned home to their Pond View Road residence and reported seeing at least two people run from the back of the residence in to the woods. The two people were unable to gain entry in to the house.

Monday, Nov 26

8:58 a.m.: Officers responded to a single car crash on Marshall Street.

2:34 p.m.: A caller reported an issue with the Bank of America ATM on Washington Street. The caller said the door would not unlock from the inside. An officer was able to assist the citizen and Bank of America was notified.

5:27 p.m.: A caller reported that pigs were in the backyard of his Norfolk Street home. Animal Control was notified that the pigs may belong to a neighbor.

5:54 p.m.: A resident reported that they had encountered a hunter earlier on the day on the rail trail.

9:29 p.m.: A resident reported a domestic assault that occurred. Police are seeking a summons to charge the male involved with assault and battery.
