Chemini was inspired to open up her own shop by memories of the early days of the Burlington, VT-based Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream, which got its start during Chemini's college days at Saint Michael's College in the late 1970s.
In addition to her affinity for ice cream, Chemini has also developed her own line of chocolate candies.
