Holliston residents Deborah Gray Bloom and Dave Suwalski will star in the Amazing Theater Company's performance of "The Diary of Anne Frank" next month.
There will be six performances of the play, all held at the Amazing Arts Center in Framingham: May 6, 7, 13, 14 at 8 p.m. and May 8 and 15 at 2 p.m.
Adapted for the stage by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, The Diary of Anne Frank is the true story of eight people persevering through two years in hiding in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam during World War II. The story was originally written by Anne Frank, a young Dutch girl on on the brink of self-discovery.

This latest adaptation of the Tony Award-winning play (which also won the 1956 Pulitzer Prize in Drama) introduces new material from Frank’s original writings, interwoven with survivor accounts of Nazi persecution, to create a compelling tale of hope and courage in the face of unspeakable darkness.
Bloom is playing Mrs. Van Daan, who went into hiding with the Frank family, while Dave Suwalski portrays Mr. Kraler, one of the people who helped keep them hidden.
