Laura Steele of Hopkinton stars in the TCAN Players' production of Ira Levin's thriller Deathtrap opening Nov. 7th at TCAN.

From November 7-16, the TCAN Players present Ira Levin’s classic thriller Deathtrap. A down-on-his-luck playwright’s student tells him that he has written the perfect suspense play and will bring it to the playwright’s Connecticut home that night. Laura was previously featured as Miss Maudie in To Kill A Mockingbird (2005), Directed Anne of Green Gables (2008), and Martha Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace(2009) with the TCAN Players. She received a “Best Supporting Actress” EMACT nomination in 2011 for Enchanted April, playing Madame Arcati in three different productions for three different theater groups. Laura is married to David for 39 years, with two adult kids (Chris and Erika), one future son-in-law (Drew), and two kitties (Sabrina and Nikki). She was on TCAN’s staff part-time for six years, in a marketing and development role, and is now enjoying retirement.
