Hopkinton Passes Three Debt Exclusions For School Improvements
Three debt exclusions to pay for construction at the high school and modular classrooms at two elementary schools were passed.
HOPKINTON, MA — Hopkinton held it's Special Town Election on Monday night and over 900 people cast their ballots. There were three questions on the ballot, all focused on debt exclusions that would help fund improvements to several Hopkinton Public Schools.
According to unofficial results, Hopkinton residents passed the debt exclusion for work to be done on Hopkinton High School. The other two ballot questions that passed focused on debt exclusions for modular classrooms at the Elmwood School and the Hopkins School.
In total, 954 ballots were cast across all four precincts.
