Hopkinton Track Boys and Girls Top Norton

Hillers girls keep rolling. Hopkinton boys win Tri-Valley championship with win against tough Lancer team.

The Hillers girls track team topped the Norton Lancers girls in Hopkinton Thursday 93-42.

The Hopkinton boys, who had been looking toward the meet as one of their toughest this season, beat the Lancers boys 86-50 to become Tri-Valley League champions.

Both teams are undefeated so far this season. This is the second season in a row the boys have won the league championship. The girls have been undefeated for four years.

Hopkinton sophomore Tim Bolick won the mile and 800 meters.

Hillers junior Ryan Webster won the 110 hurdles and the long jump. Junior Josh Hacunda won the 400 hurdles.
