Hopkinton, Westborough and Southborough Women Find Spring 'What Not to Wear' at Lyn Evans Design

Despite a day of pouring rain, even the weather couldn’t keep women away Monday night from Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs in Westborough in their quest to find out What NOT to Wear.
Based on the popular TV show of the same name, the evening featured wine, delicious desserts and appetizers by Lisa Dahl of Simply Dahlicious Catering, fundraising, image consulting and a gorgeous backdrop for learning and shopping at Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs.
The room was filled with the skinny, the tall and wherever else you might fall, but the goal was the same: to learn about your body shape and how to wear the most flattering clothes.

More than 20 women from Hopkinton, Westborough, Southborough and other communities attended to do just that.
After milling about enjoying exquisite chocolate-dipped strawberries and other delectable treats made by Lisa Dahl of Simply Dahlicious Catering, image consultant Kristine Price introduced herself and talked about the spring trends and how body shape greatly impacts an outfit.

To emphasize her point, she brought out some volunteer models who graciously showed off the good, the bad, and the not-so-flattering, all for a great cause!
Many in the crowd were amazed to have tiny do and don’t fashion details pointed out. Most will likely be spared some spring fashion blunders thanks to this evening.
The event was open to the public and served as a fundraiser for the Greater Boroughs Hadassah Chapter, with 10 percent of the proceeds going to Hadassah, a Jewish volunteer women's organization.
Lyn Evans has been in business for 32 years and boasts seven retail locations in Mass. and Connecticut.
The Westborough store is no stranger to giving back, often hosting fundraisers, raffles, silent auctions and more for its loyal customers.
