Hopkinton's Fucigna 3rd American at FIS Downhill
U.S. Ski's Anna Marno finishes in Top 20 at Tuesday race in Junior World Alpine Ski Championships. Abby Fucigna makes Top 40. Abby Ghent of Colorado is 25th.

In a story reported by Zac Amidan with the U.S. Ski Team News, Anna Marno of Steamboat Springs, Colo., was the top U.S. finisher at No. 17 in Tuesday's downhill race at the Junior World Alpine Ski Championships in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
Marno put down a solid run with a time of 1:34:21 to lead the charge for the U.S. women. Her time was fast enough to put her into the top 20. Marno was joined by her teammates Abigail Ghent of Gypsum, Colo., who finished 25th and Hopkinton's Abby Fucigina in 38th.
Abby Fucigna's time was five seconds off the gold-medal pace. Abby Ghent's time was three-seconds-and-41-hundredths off the winning time. Marno's time was two-seconds-and-one-tenth off the gold medal.
The gold medal went to Lotte Smiseth Sejersted of Norway with a solid time of 1:32:11; the silver to Wendy Holdener of Switzerland at 1:32:45; and the bronze medal to Cornelia Huetter of Austria, not far behind with a time of 1:32:80.
The International Ski Federation Junior World Alpine Ski Championships was scheduled to continue Wednesday with the women's giant slalom.
