Take Care is ready to begin work on its second album using the innovative Kickstarter program to raise the funds.
Through Kickstarter, the band has a 30-day window to raise the $8,000 needed to professionally record and produce the planned album.

It is an all-or-nothing proposition. If the funds are not raised by July 10, donors are not charged.
“Kickstarter is the perfect match for us,” said band member Kyle Joseph. “It will allow us to produce our album professionally while remaining focused on our goals.”
The bandmates, all Hopkinton High School graduates, want to complete college before entertaining the idea of a full-time music career.
While offers from record labels have been tempting, they come with a demanding tour and promotional-appearance schedule, one that would not allow the young men to obtain their degrees as planned.
Giving a nod to its local roots, and the support of its fan base, the band has a unique plan for its album cover art.
“Each donor is integral to the success of the album,” said Joseph. “So we devised way to include them.”
The band has hired artist Nick Pope of Medfield to develop an original piece of “communal art” for the album cover which will integrate the name of each donor.
When asked how he would describe Take Care’s music, Joseph replied, “We want to convey emotion in our songs.
"We create music that makes us feel something.”
The band’s three-song demo for the album has already gained media attention as one of the “Best New Releases” by music blog IndieRockCafe.com, an acknowledgement that will help fuel the success of this project.
