How Cooking Can Change Your Life

I happen to love to cook, but I know lots of people who don't.  Or they like to cook, but they don't have time, so they eat out frequently, or stop for take out or (gasp) fast food.  The problem with that, is you end up eating things that you would never eat at home - if you were cooking your own food.  Take out, fast food and even the best restaurants use far more fat, salt and sugar then you or I would ever think of using in our kitchen.

In honor of National Nutrition month, which is fast coming to an end, I posted this video by Michael Pollan, one of my favorite food journalists and activists.  It explains how the simple act of cooking more at home can change your life.

Eat well!  Anne
