Holliston football players past and present hit the links at Pinecrest Golf Club on Friday to raise money for the program.
Joined by parents, alumni, coaches and friends, the football team participated in the on Friday at .
Nearly 100 people particpated in the tournament, the primary fundraiser for the champion Panthers. The event included a raffle, an auction and prize giveaways.
The money raised by the all-day tourney finances the basic operations of the football program, including on-field equipment (pads and helmets), video and scouting software equipment, summer work-out equipment and scholarships funds, among other things.

A smooth operation at the check-in tent was run by relatives of head coach Todd Kiley. His wife, Sarah, and sister and sisters-in law (Marcia, Becky and Michelle) kept the stream of golfers moving.
Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Jim Corsi played in the tournament, showing his support for the Panthers and his two nephews who are currently in the program.

Andrea Murphy, president of Friends of Holliston Football, expressed her gratitude, saying "the Friends of Holliston Football would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the golf tournament such a success this year."
