Learn to Sew in Hopkinton
Local Resident Brings Sewing Classes Back to the Hopkinton Center for the Arts for a Second Year.

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts continues to bring sewing to Hopkinton by bringing back its Learn to Sew program with Hopkinton resident and instructor Heather Heverling.
Two class options are available for students ages 8 to 13. There is a Tuesday 'Learn to Sew' class from 3:00-4:00 p.m. This class introduces students to basic sewing skills, including how to use a sewing machine. Projects may include a drawstring bag, ribbon key chains, and pajama shorts. On Thursday's 'More Sewing Fun' runs from 3:00-4:30 p.m. This class is for students who have completed the first 'Learn to Sew' class.
For adults, Heverling teaches a beginner 'Learn to Sew' class on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. This session begins Sept. 26.
