Letter to the Editor: Available Positions in Town Government

Just a quick reminder that it is time to think about giving back to your community.

In February, the nomination papers become available for anyone who is interested in running for any of the elected positions in Town.

This year the available positions are:

• One position for (two-year term)
• One position for (three-year term)
• Two positions for Finance Committee (three-year term
• One position for (three-year term)
• Two positions for School Committee (three-year term)
• One position for (three-year term)
• Two positions for (three-year term)
• One position for (three-year term)
• One position for Housing Authority (five-year term)
• One position for (five-year term)
• Two positions for Park Commissioners (three-year term).

Holliston has been very fortunate in the past to have dedicated, knowledgeable people share their expertise and serve the town. It is a lot of time, but also very rewarding, so if you have some spare time and can serve please call my office at 508-429-0601 for any additional information or to ask for nomination papers.
