Whether on the stage or on canvas, Holliston schools are giving lovers of the arts plenty to see in May.

Lovers of the arts, May is the month for you.

The Holliston High and Middle Schools have a host of plays, concerts and exhibits lined up for the month, sure to satisfy even the most voracious of appetites for the arts:

  • First, Holliston High's Theatre 370 will be staging performances of "The Diary of Anne Frank" at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. All shows are in the HHS auditorium.
  • Then, from 4 to 8 p.m. on May 12 in the High School foyer, the HHS Fine Arts Department presents Art Saves Lives!. The free exhibit will highlight senior portfolios and will also feature works by other HHS, Middle and Elementary art students in addition to student music performances. Light refreshments and the Art Saves Lives! T-shirt will be on sale.
  • For music, the Middle School/HHS Band Concert will be on May 16, while the Middle School/HHS Choral Concert will be on the 18th. Both performances will be at 7 p.m. in the HHS auditorium.

    The Middle School Art and Jazz Night follows from 6-7:30 p.m. on May 25 in the Middle School auditorium.
