Local Group to Probe Holliston's Mosquito Problem
Members of the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project will be investigating the town's mosquito population on August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.

Members of the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project will be investigating Holliston's mosquito population on five separate days in August.
CMMCP personnel will be in town to examine recent complaints from residents on August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
The dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions, mosquito populations and mosquito virus activity. This program will shut down when cool night time temperatures become predominant in this area.

A notice about our spray schedule is posted on the CMMCP phone system after 3:30 p.m. each day, and it is also listed on the organization's website.
Complaints about mosquitoes may be registered by calling the CMMCP office at 508-393-3055 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The results of an investigation may warrant the use of a mosquito insecticide to defined, site-specific areas of the town. Such an application may be accomplished by using hand- or truck-mounted equipment, depending on the extent of the application.
