Hopkinton Man Left With Life-Threatening Injuries in Framingham

It is unknown if the Ruby Tuesday employee found at the intersection of Eleanor and Elda roads in Framingham was struck by a vehicle or assaulted and dumped in the neighborhood.

Nick Russo, 21, of Hopkinton, is at Boston Medical Center after being found severely injured in a Framingham roadway Tuesday afternoon.

Russo, an employee at Ruby Tuesday's, is in serious condition with life-threatening injuries.

Framingham Police requested a helicopter after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, when Russo was found at the intersection of Elda and Eleanor roads, said  Lt. Ron Brandolini.

He had suffered a laceration to his head and was unconscious, said Brandolini.

There was scanner chatter of police searching for a tan sedan.

Residents in the neighborhood reported seeing a strange car in the neighborhood and a few minutes later a body in the roadway. They told Framingham Police what they witnessed.

One resident texted Framingham Patch to say a woman detective told him the body may have been dumped.

Another resident texted Patch to say several neighbors did not know the man injured and that a resident treated the man found face down in the roadway, until EMTs arrived. 

The neighborhood is a residential area, near  and schools, with lots of young families.
