Mangia Your Mozzarella on Main
Newly opened Mangia Pizza is expecting more ovens soon due to the overwhelming response to their opening.

Fresh and simple ingredients. A thin whole wheat crust, and salads and sandwiches to die for are what set Mangia Pizza apart.
Newly opened at 31 Main St., Mangia Restaurant Group President Steve Fenerjian is blown away by the welcome he and the company, including Hopkinton store owner, Mike Derubis, have received since opening on March 23.
“This is our best opening to date, “ Fenerjian said. “We only installed two ovens here as it is an express location. I learned my lesson, and I will be installing more ovens.”

Serving a New Haven style pizza (thin crispy crust) made from whole wheat, the Hopkinton Mangia located on Main Street is the eighth store in the chain.
“Our first store opened in Brookline in 2003,” Fenerjian said. “We create a gourmet pizza. We call ourselves a boutique pizzeria.”

Mangia has all types of pizza toppings from the traditional pepperoni and cheese to margarita made with fresh mozzarella. All ingredients are natural and many are organic and locally grown.
According to the website, the sauce is all tomatoes, with no artificial ingredients, and no high-fructose corn syrup or other sweeteners.
Based on the response, Fenerjian believes Hopkintonites are happy.
“We could not have asked for a better opening," Fenerjian said. “People have been terrific and patient. Our wait times have been long, but that will not continue with more ovens. We are so thankful for the patience and excitement of all of our new customers.”
Mangia is Boston’s original whole wheat pizza, and they have only served whole wheat since their inception.
"Why is ours better?” the Mangia website asks. “ Simple. Other pizzerias do not use the volume of whole wheat as Mangia, therefore we can have the whole wheat flour milled to our specifications so as not to taste gritty or stick to the top of your mouth like other so called whole wheat dough.”
Mangia has won numerous awards in their nine year tenure and will soon be opening a ninth store.
Mangia is open Sun - Thurs 11 a.m. to 9 a.m. and Sat and Sun from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. This is a takeout only location.
Mangia believes in excellence and strong customer service to maintain happy customers.
“The Mangia day begins and ends with dedication to excellence, to service and to our valued customers," the website reads.
